The Munich School of Political Science

The Munich School of Political Science (HfP), founded in 1950, attracts domestic and international students. As a public corporation, it is affiliated with Munich’s Ludwig Maximilian University (LMU) and offers interdisciplinary studies in Political Science.
In a standard period of nine semesters, it offers a diploma (Dipl.sc.pol.Univ. – equivalent to a Master degree) granted by Ludwig Maximilian University. The studies can be supplemented by a doctoral program and the academic grade of a “Doctor Scientarium Politicarum” (Dr.sc.pol.) can be earned.
